A scooter is a type of vehicle that is an alternative to a car,
motorcycle, or bicycle.
Scooters can carry one or two people and are powered by
electric motors.
Scooters are not like bicycles because they don't have pedals.
Instead, they have a motor on the front wheel that powers the
vehicle with a throttle on the handlebars to control speed.
The rider leans forward with their weight on the back wheel to
accelerate and depends backward with their weight on the front
wheel to brake.
