How do we make sure factories will not use substances of very high concern (SVHC), during production?
EU law sets essential requirements to ensure products traded in the EU meet high health, safety, and environmental standards.
Cadmium, Phthalate, Lead, are among the items forbidden to have in the items
The list is very long and contains more than 1500 elements, but some materials are more dangerous than others.
Cadmium, for example, is used as a stabilizer in plastics and PVC, which means many of the items you buy and use.
Why do we tell you this?
First, be careful and make sure the plastic bag you are using, the blister packing of the item you buy, or the toy that your kids play with doesn't contain these materials.
Second, if you are producing in China, you need to make sure factories will not use them during production.
How do we do?
In order to make sure we sure taking samples from each and every batch we produce! Then send them to outside official laboratories for material analysis.
The samples were selected randomly by our QC ( quality control ) company worker.
In some productions, we find a higher level of the forbidden materials even in the smallest parts of the items.
